Andy Murphy is Melbourne’s most prolific young DJ’s. 2009 was Andy’s biggest year yet, polling a staggering #2 nationally in the Sony Inthemix DJ poll and #1 in Victoria. 2010 is shaping up to be even bigger, with Andy’s first solo release “Music Master” smashing dance floors world wide and rising up the club charts. Signed to Onelove Sony in Australia & Tommie Sunshines label Brooklyn Fire in North America this is one to watch. Holding down a residency for Australia’s biggest weekly club night “Onelove” for the past 3 years, Andy has locked in regular appearances in Main Rooms all over Australia. And has also played at Stereosonic,,Creamfields, Betterdays, Pacha, Good Vibrations, Future Music Festival, Gods Kitchen & Summadayze. Andy is no stranger to mixed compilations. In both 2007 & 2009 Andy was asked to mix the boundary pushing “Onelove – Smash Your Stereo” CD Compilation. In 2007 this was alongside New York City’s Junior Sanchez and house maestro Jason Herd. In 2009 Andy appeared alongside club sensation The Bloody Beetroots and Juan Kidd. Both CD’s a smash and within weeks achieving Gold status. Most recently Andy mixed Onelove’s 2010 Mobile Disco alongside the Bang Gang and John Dahlback. Despite his hectic performance schedule, Andy has also found time to hit the studio. In 2009 Andy worked as part of production outfit Citylife, with their debut single San Francisco” featuring the vocal talents of Dennis D. In early 2009 “San Francisco” became a club and radio hit with regular airplay on Nova & top five in the club charts.
