After having an insanely busy year we have head on a overseas trip where we are visiting Dubai, London, Paris, Milan and Singapore. We want to show you what we discovered on our travels showcasing the best fashion, shopping, restaurants, hotels and nightlife!
Our first stop was Dubai. Dubai is one of the most fascinating places that we have ever been to and we highly recommend a visit there only next time we would stay longer!
We chose to stay at the InterContinental Festival City the service was beyond amazing to say the least, they had an incredible breakfast waiting for us upon arrival. We had a 2 bedroom suite with three bathrooms which really exceeded all of our expectations, there was so much space was really like an apartment! Bianca is celiac so her dietary requirements are important and the hotel had a full understanding of her allergies and catered for them well. The hotel is situated on the Dubai Creek and had stunning views of the Dubai skyline and is located only a ten minute drive from the airport.
We thoroughly enjoyed their 5 star day spa and I highly recommend a massage lady called Marisol! The hotel itself is riddled with restaurants, and was extremely clean and a memorable experience! 5/5 from us.
Dubai Mall was probably one of the most incredible shopping centres that I have ever seen, you mention a label it had it, not only the labels its the variety of colours and styles that was extremely impressive. Truly lives up to the expectation of being the largest shopping mall in the world. As for pricing the AUD is so poor at the moment nothing was a complete bargain, so don’t expect one, however if you are after variety and pieces you cannot find in Australia this is definitely a shopping centre that is worth your while! The aquarium in the middle of the centre was truly breathtaking and an experience in itself.
Priceless – A girlfriend made a recommendation to head to priceless which is a designer outlet which has last seasons stock at great prices. Obviously its one of those places that you really need to sort through items, but you may find the odd piece! They stocked lots of Moschino, Balenciaga, Charlotte Olympia, Armani, Jimmy Choo just to say a few.
Nobu at Atlantis the Palm – Most of our followers know that we are devout Nobu lovers, so we wanted to experience a few Nobu’s around the world. Atlantis was an experience in itself the resort really is truly out of this world! There were two highlights of our meal at Nobu, firstly the hot stone which surprise surprise its Australian Wagyu on the menu. We really took for granted how amazing and how lucky we are to have such amazing produce in Australia. We were also able to experience one of the most incredible Caviar’s which we have never had a caviar like this before it lay on a bed of mash potato mixed with wasabi! Was truly incredible! The best part about Nobu was that after dinner there is a bar area where you can sit and have drinks and there is a DJ playing groovy beats.
Being into fashion we had always wanted to go to the Roberto Cavalli Nightclub. This was truly the most spectacular nightclub we have ever seen from the Chandeliers draping, to the Cavalli furniture to Cavalli vodka it was an experience that I would highly recommend!
All in all Dubai was a whirlwind trip and there truly is so much to do our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer! If its not on your bucket list I would highly recommend putting it on!
We just arrived in London so will have the next blog up in the next week or so!
